Research Experiences                                                                                                   

HJTC 0.25mm ISO/IEC 15693 and ISO/IEC 14443 Compatible Passive HF RFID Tag Chip Designer of Analog Front End (AFE)

   * Collaborated with Guangdong Chutianlong company, and this industrialized-oriented project has been tape-out twice in 2011.8 & 2013.5.

SMIC 0.18mm ISO/IEC 15693 and ISO/IEC 14443 Compatible Passive HF RFID Tag Chip Designer of AFE

    * Collaborated with Guangdong Chutianlong company, and this industrialized-oriented project is also taped-out.

The Design of passive UHF (860-960MHz) RFID tag (2012.6~2013.12)

    * Design the analog front end of the UHF RFID tag based on SMIC 0.18um process.

    * Work as a project leader responsible for Parameter definition and task assignment.

Design a Low Drop-out Regulator (LDO) for HF RFID Tag Chip (2014.2~2014.12)

    * The LDO is designed to supply a standard 1.8V output for both analog front-end and digital part, and implemented with an8-Kbit EEPROM together in SMIC 0.18 2P4M process.

Key-Technologies in Low Power AFE for Bio-medical Applications (NSF: 61306038, 2014.9~2016.9)   In Charge  

    * A transceiver operating separately in asymmetric modes is proposed.

    * A ring-VCO with self-bias circuit is proposed to improve the phase noise performance.
